Jürgen Alex appointed CEO
Effective June 1, 2019, the Supervisory Board appointed Jürgen Alex as the new Chairman of the Management Board of Deutsche Edelstahlwerke.
Previously, Alex had already acted as spokesman for the four-member management team. He has held various positions at Deutsche Edelstahlwerke and its predecessor companies since 1994 and has headed the sales department of the steel company since January 2018.
The management board is made up as follows:
- Jürgen Alex, Chairman of the Management Board and Managing Director Sales Division
- Michael Leßmann, Managing Director Personnel Department
- Mathias Rist, Managing Director Controlling Department
- Dr. Guido Stebner, Managing Director Technology Department
