Forging: The forging shops at Deutsche Edelstahlwerke make use of one forging press und two long forging machines – one of them being amongst the biggest long forging machines in the world.

Rolling: There are three rolling mills at Deutsche Edelstahlwerke: 

• Billet rolling train
• Bar steel mill
• Bar rolling mill

All three are used regardless of the dimensions required for the final product. The range of rolling services includes: 
 

• Wide flats
• Round and square shapes
• Bar steel
• Wire

Please see our Range of Products for all available dimensions. Semi-finished products and bar steel are straightened and scaled in modern finishing lines, which also allow the ends to be treated and interior and surface inspections to be performed.
